Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update Rolling Out For HTC One

Good news for all HTC One owners. The latest Android 4.3 OTA update is starting rolling out for HTC One device, as the president of HTC America Jason Mackenzie was promised a few days ago.

While others users of HTC One are already receive the update for their HTC One, now HTC decided to release the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software for the international HTC One devices, normally with few delays between different regions.

The new update was released with a small delay between different regions, after it has been received firstly by the customers from Taiwan since September 24th this year, and starting with today it is pushed out in USA and Canada.

The good news is that the latest Android 4.3 OTA update is rolled out for all Canadian HTC ONE devices no matter if the devices are unlocked or in a contract for from a particular mobile carrier.

As you probably know that the first HTC One version from USA which was already received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware was the Developer Edition. The HTC One Developer Edition version’s users who already updated their device gave a positive feedback about this new firmware, they were satisfied with the new features and performances of that software brings.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update will be pushed out as an automatically notification by Over-The-Air (OTA) under the code: 3.22.631.1 and it measures totally 573.96 MB.

If you have an HTC One device and haven’t already received the automatically update notification, you can verify if it is available for your device from: Settings-About Phone-System Updates and after that tap on” Check for updates” section.

If the new software is available for download and installation then you need to be sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network connection. The Wi-Fi connection is necessary to not affect your data plan contract from your mobile carrier.

Among the significant changes which the new 3.22.631.1 firmware comes we can highlight: the new Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, Lockscreen widgets, OpenGL 3.0 ES Support, Camera improvements, Performance improvements, Quick settings in notification bar and more.

While the HTC One Canadian users from different carrier including Telus, Bell and Virgin Mobile have been confirmed they already received the new update from the US carriers no confirmation yet in order to receiving the firmware.
