Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update for Moto X 2014 Pure Edition Now Launched

The newest update for Android-based devices is now here for Moto X 2014 Pure edition. So, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update is now being rolled out for the owners of Moto X Pure Edition variant.
According to the official Motorola blog the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being rolled out for Moto devices.

After the new update has been tested by using the soak test from Motorola Feedback Network, the new firmware is now officially released an available for download. As you probably know that the firmware update is being released in phases, that’s means some of users might receive it in the same time.

The new update will be rolled out as an automatically OTA update notification on the system notification bar. All that you need to do is to tap on it and then follow the on-screen step by step instructions. In case the new update notification failed to be displayed, you would also want to do a manual verification under Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check now.

According to the same Motorola’s blog announce, the new Lollipop firmware comes with new features such as Downtime and Interruption settings, Material Design, lock screen notifications, multi-user support, redesigned flashlight, battery saver made and more.
